Furthermore, you should not be older than 45 years due to visa restrictions
No, there is no minimum of work experience for an application but you must be a skilled nursing professional.
You can find our flyers in German, as well as English language in the download list on our website. If you require more de-tailed information, it is highly recommended to consult one of our multilingual agents. Because of our current activity in 16 countries, we are able to offer assistance in several languages.
After your successful written application and initial consultation with one of our agents, a Zoom interview will follow. You will then receive a preliminary agreement from us. Requirements are your professional qualifications and completed man-datory vaccinations. In the personal interview, we would like to get to know your personal motivation, previous stations in life, professional wishes and goals. There you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions. During the language course, you will get to know your potential employer in a second personal interview. Both sides then decide whether they can imagine working together.
We are a committed, international team with many years of experience in the personnel industry based in Goldbach (Aschaffenburg district). So far, we have been able to accompany numerous nursing professionals from various countries on their way into well-paid employment with an open and pleasant working atmosphere. This starts with the personal consultation, the organization of the language course, the preparation of the job recognition, the job placement up to the entry into Germany, including all administrative procedures as well as apartment search, registration with the health insurance and opening of a bank account.
For the job recognition in Germany a B2 language certificate is required. Thus, the language preparation has highest priority. The key to successful employment, as well as fast integration, are good and confident language skills.
The job recognition as “Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger*in”, respectively as “Pflegefachmann/-frau” is a mandatory pre-requisite for practicing this profession in Germany. Without professional recognition, you can only hold an employment as a nursing assistant on a temporary basis, with a correspondingly lower area of responsibility and salary. Recognition is granted if the educational content approximately corresponds to the German educational background, the required language level is present and there are no previous convictions or health restrictions.
Depending on the so-called deficiency notice and the training differences mentioned therein, it usually takes three to twelve months until the occupation is recognized.
This depends on how quickly the necessary work permit and visa can be acquired. In addition, your German language skills play a role, because in Germany you need a level B2 language certificate to work as a nurse.
Our customers and cooperation partners include hospitals, clinics and retirement homes in various locations in Germany. Some belong to large corporate groups, while others are small, private facilities with a pleasant charm.
Yes, we first conduct the interviews in person with you in your home country via Zoom and later organize a personal interview with the nursing director or the Head of Facility of your future employer. This also takes place via Zoom.
You receive an official, usually unlimited, employment contract from your future employer.
On average, the weekly working time is 39 hours in a 5- or 5.5-day week in shift work. You will receive the usual bonuses for night, Sunday and holiday work. You are entitled to 28 to 31.5 vacation days per year (depending on the facility).
Your monthly salary will be (depending on the institution) between 2400 € and 2600 € gross as a nursing assistant during the recognition measure or between 3300 € and 4000 € gross as a nurse after the recognition.
To avoid repayments, the employment relationship must last at least two years. Of course, you are always welcome to stay with the placed employer for longer than two years. The goal is to create a long-term integration of our candidates.
This depends on the tax bracket, which is determined by the individual marital status. On average, about 33% of the salary goes to social security, pension, taxes and unemployment insurance.
Income in Germany is stated both as a gross amount and as a net amount. The income that is paid out directly is referred to as the net wage, which is calculated after certain tax and social security contributions have been deducted from the gross income.
At most hospitals, companies and institutions in Germany you can discover the cultural phenomenon “salad bowl”. Many different nationalities work respectfully with each other and are all treated equally.
Of course, we will help you find an apartment. However, employers often have company apartments to accommodate their employees, or you have the option of moving into a staff room at the facility to get acclimated.
Yes, law in Germany requires health insurance. Everyone in Germany has statutory health insurance. Regardless of salary class, age or nationality, everyone has access to the same, high-quality health services. Statutory health insurance covers all doctor's visits and medically necessary treatments; private co-payments are usually hardly necessary.
Yes, as an international skilled worker, we will help you with all official matters, such as the job recognition procedure or registration at the residents' registration office.
It is important that the requirements for working in Germany are met. Therefore, the professional development is in first place and we unfortunately, cannot take care of the family reunion in this context. The immigration to Germany is a big step, which should be well considered. Every candidate needs enough discipline and time to focus on the qualification measure and - especially during the probationary period - on the work in the nursing facility. Some candidates have already brought their family to Germany on their own in the later stages.
You do not incur any costs for the training, the placement or our service. The future employer will cover the costs of the language course, the examination costs and entry costs. Only minor fees such as visa and recognition costs have to be paid by you. Only in case of termination of the employment contract in Germany within the first two years, you would have to pay back a part of the training costs. The sum is calculated solely from the actual costs incurred (language course plus allowance) in proportion to the length of time you have worked, i.e. after one year you only pay back half, after ¾ of the time only a quarter of the costs, etc.
We cannot speak for other providers. However, speaking for ADVIDUM, it is a clear no. As soon as you start working at the hospital or care facility in Germany, you are in an employment relationship with the new employer. You will be treated as a full team member and get paid according to the collective wage agreement.
You just have to apply! You can find our attractive vacancies here.
